Very quick growing, vigorous, robust plant with pungent leaves used as a main ingredient of a mixed green salad to add zest and texture.
| Sowing time: | March to September |

| Sowing depth: | ½ inch deep |
Sow thinly outdoors, about ½ inch deep, from March to September and thin plants to 2 inches apart or 4 inches for larger plants.
Keep soil moist at all times for best flavored leaves and to prevent plants from bolting (running to seed). Seed can also be sown in pots on the windowsill for all the year round harvesting of fresh leaves.
Harvest from 30 days after sowing during the summer months.
Serving suggestion - Rocket and fennel salad. Place washed rocket leaves in a salad bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and cover with thinly sliced fennel. Pour on lime juice, drizzle with olive oil and grate parmagiano over the top.
