Patterson Hybrid Onion

The Longest Storing Onion

  • Medium-to-large bulbs
  • Very uniform shape and size
  • Long-day variety
If you enjoy eating homegrown onions throughout winter, Patterson Hybrid Onion is the one to grow. Patterson has an extremely long shelf life—and the onions stay firm and flavorful for months. So you'll have homegrown onions to add to stews, soups, chili and other winter recipes. The medium-to-large bulbs are sweet and firm with straw-colored skin and yellowish flesh. They're very uniform in shape and size. Patterson Hybrid Onion is similar to the popular Copra, yet slightly larger with an overall higher yield. It's a long day variety and needs about 13-16 hours of daylight, making it best suited for gardeners in the Northern zones. 104 DAYS
