Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:March to June.
Sowing depth:1cm (½in) deep in drills 15cm (6in) apart.

Sow thinly. Can also be sown under cloches in January/February for earlier cropping.

Growing Instructions

Thin seedlings when large enough to handle to 5cm (2in) apart to reduce risk from carrot root fly.

Aftercare Instructions

Prefers well drained, moist, rich, cool conditions Harvest July to December.

The unusual colour of this carrot makes it a particularly exciting addition to fresh salads or use with dips.
