Sow thinly, 1cm (½ inch) deep in drills 30cm (12 inches) apart in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Water ground regularly, especially during dry periods.
When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 2.5cm (1 inch) apart.
Keep plants cool and moist to prevent running to seed.
With their unique flavours, Radishes and Fennel make a great pairing for salads.
