Excellent for cutting, bedding etc, and attractive pot plants for summer flowering in a cold greenhouse. Flowers summer to autumn. Height 90cm (36in).

Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:Indoors 4-6 weeks before last spring frost or outdoors after last frost
Sowing depth:3mm (1/8in)

Sow at 21-24C (70-75F) in a good seed sowing mix. Keep soil damp but not wet, sealing in a plastic bag after sowing is helpful. Germination usually takes 5-10 days. The seed can also be sown outdoors where it is to flower after last frost.

Growing Instructions

When seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatize to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 60cm (24in) apart in a sunny spot on light well drained soil. For pot plants, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots, grow cool, well ventilated and give plenty of light, but shade from direct sun.
