A superb trailing Alyssum! Sweetly fragrant in early spring or summer, with a mixture of dainty cream, purple, pink, rose and white flowers. Excellent in mixed baskets and containers, or planted on its own.

Sow in pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Keep at a temperature of between 20-25C (68-86F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 7-21 days.
Can be also be sown direct outdoors where they are to flower during March.
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after in October for winter flowering, 15cm (6in) apart. For best results, provide a moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade.
