An easy to grow annual with compact, uniform plants which are early to flower. The large, semi-double blooms in gloaming, deepest red mahogany are produced in succession over the summer months. Excellent summer ground cover for beds, borders, and containers.

Sow where they are to flower in well cultivated soil in a sunny open site. Sow in rows 30cm (12in) apart and thin out to 30-45cm (12-18in) between plants.
For container plants germinate at 15-20C (77-68F) in 7.5cm (3in) pots. If sown indoors, gradually acclimate to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost. Before planting into containers, ensure plants are well rooted in their pots.
When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 30-45cm (12-18in) apart.
Easily grown on any soil in a sunny position.
