Description

This excellent mixture of quality Delphiniums comes as a formula blend of no less than seven colors. Some pure colors; some with white bees. Their dwarf habit eradicates the concern for flower damage caused by windy and wet conditions. They look great at the front of the perennial border, cottage garden or even in containers. Flowers summer. Height 90cm (36in).

Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:late winter to mid summer.
Sowing depth:3mm (1/8in)

Sow in a good seed compost. Germination takes 1-3 months at 10-13C (50-55F). After sowing, seal inside a polythene bag and place in the dark until the first seedlings show.

Growing Instructions

When large enough to handle, transplant to boxes or 7.5cm (3in) pots, and grow on in cooler conditions. When well grown gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions and plant out 30cm (12in) apart in full sun and a deep, rich, well drained soil with some shelter.
