Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:February to July.
Sowing depth:1/8in (3mm)

Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed compost in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 60-65F (15-18C). Soak the seeds in hand hot water for 2 hours. If the seeds are large they can first be lightly filed at one point on the seed before soaking.

Growing Instructions

Transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots when large enough to handle, taking care NOT to damage the roots. Acclimatise young plants to outdoor conditions before planting out 30cm (12in) apart in full sun.

Aftercare Instructions

Prefers a moist, well drained soil.
