Product Details
HARDINESS ZONE: 5-10
SUN/SHADE: Full sun
FLOWERING PERIOD: Summer
SOIL TYPE: Well drained
IDEAL FOR: Border, cottage garden, wildlife
SOWING TIME: February to April.
SOWING: Sow on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Cover seed with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Keep at a temperature of between 15-20C (59-68F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 14 - 30 days.
AFTERCARE: For best results, provide a rich, light, well-drained soil in full sun.Plants will prove hardy if wet winter conditions are avoided.
