Product Details
SUN/SHADE: Sun or part shade
FLOWERING PERIOD: Summer
SOIL TYPE: Well drained
IDEAL FOR: Baskets, flower pouch
SOWING TIME: 3 to 4 months before last frost. Do not sow before late winter when day length is 12 hours or more.
SOWING: Sow seeds on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed sowing mix in pots or trays. Do not cover the seed. Place in a propagator or warm place, and keep at a temperature of around 24-27C (75-80F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the sowing mix moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 15-60 days. Caution: Dust-like seeds. To open, hold over a sheet of white paper, cut along three sides of inner pack and carefully open out flat. Tap the packet gently to dislodge seed.
AFTERCARE: Gradually acclimatize young plants to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost, 15-20cm (6-8in) apart, or plant into baskets and containers. For best results, provide a rich, light, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade.
