During our travels to trial grounds around the world, we rediscovered this heirloom variety, first offered by T&M in 1933, and a real breakthrough in calendula breeding of its time. Bushy, free-flowering plants produce masses of gorgeous double citron-yellow blooms with long wide petals resembling a chrysanthemum. 'Chrysantha' still has a place in the garden today adding height to borders, and makes an invaluable cut flower.
