A delightful species originating from Spain and Portugal. Produces elegant flower spikes covered in small chocolate trumpets circling each stem and attracting beneficial insects.

Sowing Instructions

Sowing time:	Feb-July, 8-10 weeks before planting out
Sowing depth:	1/16 inch (1.5mm)

Sow in trays, pots, etc of good seed sowing mix in a propagator or warm place to maintain an optimum temperature of 60-65F (15-18C).

Growing Instructions

p> Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 7.5 cm (3in) pots. Acclimatize young plants to outdoor conditions before planting out 30cm (12in) apart in full sun. Prefers a well drained soil. May also be sown outdoors after last frost for bloom the following year.
