The newest of the Mirai corns—the series that has become the most popular in Europe. Strong plants produce succulent 6in cobs with extra tender, supersweet, golden-yellow kernels. Cobs are roundended so the 16 rows of delicious kernels fill right to the tip. Juicy and tender if eaten raw or perfect for 'corn on the cob' cooked or barbequed.

Both 'supersweets' and 'tendersweets' give a much higher sweetness than the older varieties, whether raw or cooked. The sugars are much slower to convert to starch but remain at their most delicious when picked and eaten fresh or frozen.
