Flavortop Nectarine Tree

Ideal for Jams, Jellies and Wine

  • Large, freestone fruits
  • Productive and vigorous tree
  • Requires 600-700 chill hours
A favorite of home gardeners, Flavortop Nectarine Tree produces some of the best-tasting, flavorful nectarines we've tried. The large, oval fruits are beautiful, too, with mostly red skin over yellow. The firm, smooth flesh is sweet with a bit of tang. The freestone fruits are excellent for fresh eating, in fruit salads and cooked into pies and desserts. The highly productive and vigorous tree is also quite ornamental in the springtime when large, showy blossoms open. The tree requires 600-700 chill hours. Fruits ripen in early to mid-July. Self pollinating. Zones 6-8.
